What will you do

As our new business development manager you will be part of our Mollie’s Sales team in Amsterdam. So far it is 3 of us and together with you we will acquire new merchants within the Netherlands. The Sales focus has shifted from SMEs to enterprise level merchants so expect regular C-level and in depth sales talks.

Together with your colleagues you will take ownership of the game-plan. That means end-to-end responsibility for all the inbound and outbound leads. You will make sure that turn them into actual customers and Mollie ambassadors

To sum it up you will:

  • Acquire highly profitable and sustainable new business;
  • Engage with highly successful entrepreneurs, founders and e-commerce managers;

  • Own incoming leads;
  • Explore new opportunities and turn them into clear personal goals;
  • Indicate market needs to improve our platform and services.

What you have

  • You have at least 3 year of experience in a commercial role;

  • You are fluent in Dutch and English;

  • You are an active listener with a commercial mindset;

  • You are an enthusiastic networker;

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field;

  • Experience in payment and e-commerce industry is a big plus;
