Mollie is a developer driven European payment service provider. Every day we are looking to break the traditional ways of payments by testing the boundaries of code. We want to use code to make payments accessible to everyone and empower entrepreneurs of all sizes to efficiently manage their money flows.

We are growing fast. Over the years we expanded to a company handling the payments

What will you do?

As Head of HR, you will lead on defining and implementing Mollie's HR strategy across the various geographies. As a business partner you will advise the managing board on all aspects of the HR domain, from international pay rolling tot talent management. You'll play an important role in the operation of Mollie when it comes to people and will make fundamental contributions to the organisation's culture, development, and staffing. 

Your scope includes

  • Vision and strategy. Develop the HR vision for Mollie taking into account the rapid growth of the organisation across borders. Work together with the managing board to create a robust organisation from a people perspective; 
  • Operations. Run a tight ship with the HR team when it comes to the day-to-day HR activities such as pay rolling, contracting and participating in job interviews and selection processes. 
  • Employment Law: Together with our in-house legal and compliance department you'll ensure that the organisation complies with local requirements in all jurisdictions, taking the necessary steps to comply with future requirements.

Desired qualification and experience

  • Minimum of 5-10 years broad experience in the field of HR;
  • Stellar interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and integrity;
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Must be able to work under pressure and trouble shoot problems quickly;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English;
  • Experience with working within a startup/scale up, is a major plus.
