Full-time · Amsterdam

Hi, we are Mollie! 👋🏼

You've probably seen 'Mollie' on your bank statements at some point. Maybe quite often actually ;)... This is because you have bought something online. Over 90.000 customers already trust Mollie for their online payments. For them we process millions of consumer purchases seamlessly.

Mollie is on a mission to become the most loved payments provider of Europe. We are the home of ‘Mollies’ who make this place a great place to work and build friends for life.

In the past 2 years we’ve grown from 100 to 300 employees, whilst preserving our unique culture and building a highly recognised employer brand. And our growth has only just begun. With big local and international expansion plans, we are looking for someone to take this team and function to the next level and drive Mollies next growth phase!

Your opportunity

A once in a lifetime opportunity to join one of Europe’s fastest growing fin-tech companies at a very exciting time.

As Head of Talent Acquisition you will be the strategic TA business partner for our Management Team, advising us on where and how to find the best talent. Basically you will enable us to grow, with the best people.

We already have a strong recruitment team in place (currently 8FTE), and we are looking for a people leader who has experienced hyper-growth before. We need someone who can help us become much more data driven and who can inspire and coach all team members to do their best work yet.

Besides recruiting you’ll also make sure everyone knows Mollie is the place to work. You’ll commit to building the most recognised brand within the tech-industry. Or all industries. We’re on a roll and you need to be ready to take us to great heights.

What you'll be doing

  • Design hiring plans and recruitment strategies for countries we already operate in: Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France.
  • Build the recruitment strategies for our expansion plans into new countries.
  • Lead a high performing team of recruiters by empowering them to make the right talent decisions.
  • Oversee and measure all stages of candidate experience (including application, interviews and communication) to ensure we offer the best possible experience.
  • Monitor and actively optimise our current recruitment procedures, including processes and interviews (provide interview training to the business).
  • Measure and report on key recruitment metrics, such as: quality of hire, cost of hire, source of hire, time-to-hire etc.
  • More importantly, you’ll use these metrics to consistently improve the efficiency and the success of our Talent Acquisition team.

Meet some of the team!

Our selection procedure in a nutshell

If you can answer each question with a ‘yes’, we recommend you apply. Please share your profile with us and answer the questions above in your cover letter. Ideally with a few examples of where and how you did this.

If we feel you could be THE ONE, we will contact you. If our feeling after this conversation can be described as 'excited' we would normally invite you into our office for some great coffee and further conversations. Due to Corona this process can take place online, but please note that the position is based in the Netherlands (Amsterdam) and we will eventually require you to work from the office with the team. This is not a remote role, sorry.

The position reports into Ingeborg van Harten (Head of People and Places) and replaces Anna Brandt (interim Head of TA). During the interview process you will meet both, as well as a few business stakeholders and Management Team members.

There is a strong preference for a local (Netherlands) or European based candidate. Relocation offered if required. We hope you'll join us in Oct/Nov 2020.
