Your Opportunity

Join a dynamic and rapidly growing company based in the Netherlands, with a footprint extending across Europe. In our journey to make money management effortless for every business in Europe, we are looking for a versatile and passionate finance professional. This is a unique opportunity to be at the front of financial planning and analysis, contributing directly to key decision-making processes within the organisation. You will work closely together with other Mollies, providing insights and recommendations around resourcing, prioritization and risk management. You’ll create insights with impact!

What you’ll be doing

  • Financial planning - driving the annual budgeting process, working closely with domain leads to develop accurate and achievable budgets aligned with objectives. Actively contribute in the preparation of rolling forecasts while incorporating latest market trends and business developments

  • Financial analysis - prepare comprehensive financial reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and variances against budget/forecast. Present findings to stakeholders, providing clear explanations and actionable recommendations

  • Collaboration within Planning & Analysis Domain: Work closely with other teams within the Planning and Analysis domain to ensure alignment and optimize support for the business's financial information needs. Collaborate on data collection, analysis methodologies, and reporting standards to ensure consistency and accuracy across all domains

  • Business partnering - serve as a trusted advisor to domain leads, offering financial guidance and support in decision-making processes. Provide insights to maximize efficiency across their organization. Foster strong relationships across the organization to facilitate effective communication and collaboration

  • Investor relations - Preparing financial reporting materials and supporting the preparation of senior management for investor meetings

What you'll bring

  • 3 years of relevant working experience within a high growth technology company (financial services preferred)

  • You are experienced at full end-to-end ownership of Excel or Google Sheets models, masterful at creating smooth processes around them

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

  • You have an analytical and data-driven mind, and an eye for detail; the result of your work is characterized as considered and accurate

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Hands on, a do-er and a strong sense of ownership (but humble execution)

  • Eager to learn and embrace change, broaden your knowledge and pick up new things. You love being part of a team and always take time to support more junior team members when needed.
