In our journey to make money management effortless for every business in Europe, we are looking for someone to lead our analytics efforts across two business domains: GTM, and Planning & Analysis.
In this role, you will lead a group of analytics professionals โ jointly responsible for using data to power Mollieโs efforts in marketing, sales, partnerships and other commercial activities. To succeed, you will need top-notch technical skills, demonstrable leadership experience, and strong commercial acumen.
What you'll be doing
Team leadership: responsible for a team of data analysts and analytics engineers who jointly own the analytics roadmap for our GTM and P&A domains.
Roadmap development: collaborate with domain stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate this into an analytics roadmap for your team.
Craft leadership: promote data best practices with the domain, ensuring that we balance the long-term health of our data assets with short-term needs.
Data modelling: transform data from different sources into clean, robust, performant, easy to use data models based on the analytical needs of your stakeholders.
Business Intelligence: build and maintain robust, performant data models and dashboards enabling your stakeholders to visualise and report key metrics.
Commercial analytics: dive deep into data from different Mollie products to understand and improve commercial performance by driving business decisions.
Data storytelling: turn your insights into compelling stories and share them via presentations, blog posts, memos, dashboards, workshops, or whatever works best!
What you have
4+ years experience as an analytics engineer or data analyst
1+ year of experience as a manager or other demonstrable leadership
Experience within sales and marketing + associated data sources e.g. GA, Salesforce etc.
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
Proactive, pragmatic and have a โcan doโ attitude
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Fluency in SQL (we use BigQuery) and experience with dbt
Experience working with a BI tool (we use Looker)
Experience working with Git
Nice to haves
Experience with A/B testing and experimentation
Experience with R, Python, or other programming languages
