Associate HR Business Partner

Your opportunity

We are looking for an HR professional with experience in People Operations and Advisory to support our Go To Market and Enablement teams and specifically in managing sick leave and performance cases to support our teams across the company. You will be the main HRBP for our Business Support and Risk Operations teams, mostly based in Maastricht. 

What you'll be doing

  • You'll be one of the go-to persons for all HR things! Providing expert guidance and support on all sorts of (complex) HR topics, policies, and processes. 

  • You will support our managers and employees with sick leave management, including return-to-work processes, disability guidance, and compliance with policies and legal requirements, while collaborating with our arbo provider @arbo.

  • You will assist managers in developing, implementing and monitoring performance including providing coaching and support to both employees and managers throughout the performance management cycle ensuring that objectives are clear and achievable, with support of the other HRBPs 

  • You will be responsible for generating and analysing monthly sick leave reports, identifying trends and areas of concern, and providing actionable insights back to the HRBPs 

  • You will be supporting the teams with exciting plans such as expansion, upskilling, culture initiatives and more.

  • And are you excited about numbers? You can play a huge role in bringing our people's analytics and reporting to the next level at Mollie.Your analysis and reports support the implementation of HR projects and help Sr. HR Business Partners and managers make better-informed decisions

  • You'll be the friendly face that helps with employee growth, development, and internal mobility. And when things get sticky, you'll step in and make sure everyone is feeling supported and treated fairly. Especially in case of long-term sick leave and performance issues.

What you'll bring

  • HR experience - You need to have at least 2-3 years of work experience in a People Ops / Advisory role. 

  • A strong understanding of employment laws (Dutch law required, other countries are a pre) and regulations is essential, along with excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills. It’s a big plus if you have experience with German labor law.

  • You are comfortable finding the right balance between confidently supporting the business by adapting your approach to meet their needs, while also standing behind difficult decisions when necessary, and providing support to Managers as they navigate those situations. To be successful in this role, you'll need experience in managing sick leave and performance management.  

  • Speaking and/or understanding of the German language is a nice to have.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. Mollie is fast paced, you’ll need to be comfortable navigating with uncertainty or ambiguity. Tech & Product work experience is nice to have. 

  • Business acumen & autonomy - We need someone who knows how HR fits into the bigger picture of the organisation. On top of that, we are looking for someone who is proactive and independent in working with their designated business teams.
