Business Development Manager - Poland

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to shape the future of Mollie in Poland as our first employee dedicated to the region. As a key player in this expansion, you’ll operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, laying the foundation for our success in the market. You’ll collaborate closely with teams across Sales, Partnerships, Operations, and Product to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Your opportunity:
You’ll take full ownership of the sales cycle, from creating and nurturing leads to engaging prospects and understanding their unique challenges. Using this insight, you’ll craft compelling commercial proposals tailored to their business needs. Your goal? To grow our customer base in the medium and large business segment while transforming new customers into enthusiastic Mollie ambassadors.
What you'll be doing:
Establish Mollie’s presence in Poland by executing a wide range of commercial activities, laying the groundwork for long-term success.
Drive initial commercial results by converting both inbound and outbound opportunities into meaningful business wins.
Act as the voice of the Polish market, sharing insights from prospective customers with internal teams—including Field Marketing and Product—to develop winning strategies tailored to the region.
Proactively engage with new customers and partners (agencies, SaaS providers) to gather valuable feedback on the local Mollie experience and product offerings.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate the onboarding and integration of new customers, ensuring a seamless and successful go-live experience.
What you'll bring:
Languages: Native Polish and fluent English are essential; additional languages are a plus.
Experience: 3–5 years in technology sales, with additional experience in a strategic or operational role and/or the SaaS/payments industry being a strong advantage.
Mindset: A proactive, outbound-oriented approach with proven experience in outbound sales strategies.
Work Style: A structured and organized approach to handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication abilities and a talent for building strong, lasting relationships.
Energy & Team Spirit: A team player who inspires and energizes those around you with your entrepreneurial mindset and healthy level of intensity.
