Junior Account Executive - DACH (m/f/d)

Your opportunity:
As our new Junior Account Executive (m/w/d) you will be part of our Mollie’s Sales team in DACH. We are seeking motivated individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset who are eager to learn, driven by data, and ready to make a meaningful impact. Focusing on small and medium-sized web shops. This requires C-level and in-depth sales conversations with a consultative approach.
You have full ownership of the sale cycle. From prospecting, engaging, nurturing leads and understanding their pain points to creating compelling offers that fit their business needs perfectly and bring them live with Mollie. Your ultimate objective is to expand our customer base into the small and medium size segment and turn your newly signed customers into strong Mollie ambassadors.
What you'll be doing:
Career Opportunity: Start or continue a successful career in SaaS/FinTech Sales with full excitement about tech and talking to people.
Own the Pipeline: Manage a deal pipeline with new customers taking full responsibility from first contact through to becoming a live customer.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the onboarding and risk teams early in the sales process to expedite conversion while managing risk for Mollie.
Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with partners and various stakeholders, including client-side, internal, and third parties, to accelerate integration and get customers live.
Performance Reporting: Utilize available dashboards and funnel management tools to report and discuss performance. Apply your analytical skills to understand the market and devise an adapted strategy.
What you'll bring:
Strong relationship-building skills, transparency, honesty, and a consultative sales approach.
Confidence in discussing technical solutions with potential clients.
Willingness to learn and do outbound sales.
Already worked with Sales methodologies.
You have worked in a Sales role before (SDR, BDR, BDM, AE etc.).
Fluent in German with excellent communication and presentation skills. Comfortable interacting in English (required). Please do not apply if you are not fluent in German.
