Your day to day job will consist of reviewing existing customer information, their transactions and in the end you will assess the risks. The role of a CDD Analyst in Mollie’s Customer Operations department is to act as the gatekeeper.
By doing so, you ensure that Mollie stays safe and only conducts business with merchants that have good intentions. We follow appropriate controls and monitoring in order to satisfy our obligations to the appropriate regulatory authorities. We need you to balance adherence to laws and legislation with the ultimate ease of use for our customers, high levels of efficiency, and excellent control of our reputation and financial risks. The customer experience is always on top of mind. The goal is to make sure there are no blockers for our merchants and help them run their business effectively.
What you'll be doing:
You will assess the risks of many different types of organisations (for example ecommerce, foundations, governments etc) in various stages of their life cycle (onboarding, event driven reviews, periodic review)
Perform due diligence checks relating to stakeholder identification and verification
You will review financial and non-financial information to get a clear picture of the whole organisation.
Perform profile checks relating to merchants’ activities and their location
Analyse the ownership and map out complex entity structures.
Work assigned queues, emails, and service requests, as well as other risk related items on a daily basis.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in an efficient and effective manner and perform phone outreach as needed.
Improving service delivery time/quality and enhanced customer satisfaction.
Keep up to date on applicable regulations and utilize independent judgment in the application of those regulations.
What you'll bring:
A proactive and strong analytical approach.
Hands-on, detail-oriented and results-driven and the ability to make critical decisions based on limited information
1-2 years experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: customer service, financial services or KYC.
Ability to work on your own as well as being a team player.
You are a passionate self-starter, unafraid to challenge the status quo and to look at things from a different perspective.
