Your impact

As a Data Analyst in Credit Intelligence, you will be pivotal in upleveling the team as we navigate new growth opportunities. You will bridge the gap between technical data expertise and strategic business goals, moving beyond simple reporting to drive our Marketing and Offers strategy.

You will play a crucial role in reducing our reliance on single points of failure for commercial analysis, ensuring knowledge is shared and scalable. By linking business risks to customer profiles and optimizing our automated marketing models, you will directly influence how Mollie grows safely and effectively.


What you'll ship

  • Drive Strategy: Inform and shape the commercial strategy for our Capital product. You’ll create deep-dive analysis to identify new customer segments, define competitive offers, and guide our efforts for acquiring both new and strengthening our relationship with existing customers.

  • Commercial Insights: Own the end-to-end analysis of our lending funnel and product performance. This includes everything from analysing customer application drop-off points to assessing the potential of our backbook, delivering clear recommendations that drive business. .

  • Data Modeling & Architecture: Design, build, and maintain scalable data models beyond our initial phase. You will be creating the source of truth for our Capital product, enabling robust, self-serve analysis for the entire team

  • Optimize Models: Analyse the performance of our marketing and customer routing models. You'll partner with Marketing to test hypotheses and implement changes that improve offer conversion, optimise for the right customer segments, and enhance our performance.

  • Risk Intelligence: Translate risk profiles into commercial opportunities. You'll ensure our customer segmentation and offer strategies to best serve our customers in balance with our risk appetite.

  • Mentorship & Growth: Promote a culture of technical rigour and data literacy. You will help mentor team members on analytics best practices and ensure the knowledge you create is well-documented and scalable.


What you'll bring

  • Strong Analytics & Modeling: You have a proven ability to build reliable and scalable data models using SQL and data principles. Hands-on experience with a modern data stack (e.g., dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery) is essential.

  • Deep Commercial Analysis: You don't just build tables, you ask "Why?." You have strong experience in product or commercial analytics, using data to answer ambiguous questions around customer behaviour, funnel performance, and market opportunity.

  • Impactful Communication: You excel at translating analysis into clear, actionable narratives for stakeholders. You confidently present your findings and influence decisions across a range of audiences.

Nice to have:

  • Experience analysing customer journey data (e.g., from a registration portal or CRM) to identify drop-off points and improve conversion.

  • Familiarity with lending, credit, or other capital products for SMEs..

  • Experience providing the core analysis to define target segments, set KPIs, and measure post-launch success.

  • Prior experience working directly in or closely with a Credit Risk function.
