Your opportunity
Join a dynamic and rapidly growing company based in the Netherlands, with a footprint extending across Europe. We’re on a mission to make money management effortless for businesses, and we’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our newly established team in the Merchant Monitoring domain.
In this role, you'll focus on credit risk, using data to develop solutions that protect our business from evolving risks in payments. You will leverage real-time payment data, external credit bureau insights, and advanced analytics to reduce exposure to credit defaults and fraud. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, data scientists, and product experts.
What You'll Be Doing

Actionable Insights: Use data to support product design and risk mitigation efforts. Your analytics will influence product features and roadmaps, strengthening credit risk models and strategies.
Data Modelling: Transform data from various sources into clean, efficient, and scalable data models to meet analytical needs.
Be a Data Storyteller - in order to be a trusted, insightful advisor to your stakeholders you should not only show the data. You need to provide deep insights, synthesise and tell a story. In this role, you need to use data not only to create awareness, but to drive change.
Risk Mitigation & Strategy: Conduct deep analysis to uncover trends and provide actionable recommendations that mitigate credit defaults and fraud. Your insights will shape the risk management framework and product decisions.
Full Data Lifecycle: From data ingestion to productionalizing insights, you’ll be involved at every stage of the data lifecycle. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll help transform raw data from various sources into models, turn those models into actionable insights, and drive their integration into reports, products, KPI’s and recommendations.
