Our Engineering Graduate Program is designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge, and experience you need to succeed in a dynamic fintech environment as part of the Developer Enablement domain in MILAN.
Developer Enablement focuses on providing a tailored internal developer platform & services to enable Mollie’s software developers to build applications and services to deliver customer value. It focuses on reliability, compute, databases, software development lifecycle. By focusing on automation, reliability we enable teams to build and deploy high-quality applications faster, ensuring they can focus on delivering value to customers.
The 15-month program begins in September 2025 and includes two rotations within our Developer Enablement domain in MILAN: the first lasting nine months and the second lasting six months. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience at one of Europe’s leading fintechs, collaborate with some of the best platform engineers in the industry, and deepen your understanding of Mollie’s business and how to thrive in a fast-paces work environment - all designed to give you the best possible start to your career!
In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in tech and soft skill training while being paired with a mentor and a buddy to support you through your learning journey.
What you'll be doing
Build and enhance a self-service internal developer platform, making it intuitive and efficient for engineers and non-engineers.
Learn and apply best practices in distributed systems, reliability engineering, and automation to improve system performance and scalability.
Contribute to the SDLC by optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating workflows, and improving testing frameworks.
Explore and integrate cutting-edge technologies to enhance the platform and developer experience.
Identify and propose improvements to workflows, infrastructure, and developer tooling.
Engage in a culture of learning and experimentation, sharing insights and gaining hands-on experience with modern distributed systems.
What you'll bring
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field with a 2024 or 2025 graduation date.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go,Python or Java.
Strong interest or demonstrated skills in some of the following topics: scalability, reliability and fault tolerance systems, cloud computing, Infrastructure as code, performance optimization.
Strong interest in troubleshooting complex issues in networking, concurrency, and distributed systems and a general passion for tackling problems at scale
Experience working in a collaborative environment.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
