Head of Marketing - Go To Market

Your opportunity:

We’re searching for a bold, creative and growth-minded marketing leader to join as Mollie’s Head of Marketing. Along with our Head of Growth, you will be jointly responsible for Marketing at Mollie. In this newly designed role, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, your mission is to unlock the power of Mollie’s brand and drive brand awareness and marketing campaigns across all geographies.

Mollie has ambitious plans for 2025 and beyond - including new products and new markets - and marketing will play a critical role on our continued path to greatness. In this role, you will oversee critical functions within our go-to-market domain, including product marketing, field marketing, brand design, PR and communication.

This role demands guts and a passion for challenging the status quo. You’ll bring a natural knack for investigation and problem-solving, thriving in a fast-paced environment where continuous (re-)prioritization is key. You won’t shy away from challenges or ambiguity and are comfortable with failing fast and learning quickly. With an ownership mentality, you will collaborate effectively, meet deadlines, and ensure high-quality deliverables that elevate the brand. Humility and obsession with excellence will be your guiding principles in shaping the brand’s future

What you'll do:

  • Co-lead Marketing and the Brand & Growth domain together with the Head of Growth, working closely together with the CCO and Founder

  • Develop global-to-local marketing strategy aligned to Mollie’s objectives, with rightly prioritised quarterly roadmaps of activities across channels

  • Be accountable for marketing spend, tracking actuals versus budget and reporting in quarterly reviews which campaigns and marketing activities are performing best across the funnel

  • Create and implement the playbooks, frameworks and tools to lift our Product Marketing, Partner Marketing and Field Marketing to the next level

  • Work closely with our Creative Director and Principal Brand Designer to strengthen our brand identity (value prop, who/what/why and story) across all channels and geos

  • Lead PR, Content and Social teams to elevate our communication while ensuring we are sounding the right note in all we publish and share

  • Collaborate with Field Marketing and regional VPs to develop regional marketing strategies that drive success of regional Sales, Agency, CSM and Partnership teams

  • Collaborate across all Marketing functions to tailor and test effective full-funnel campaigns across paid social, paid search, email and mobile

  • Support all areas of the business that rely on Marketing capabilities incl. Customer Onboarding, Customer Activation, Product Design and the People Team (incl employer branding)

What you'll bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in brand, field, product and partner marketing

  • Experience in managing €20m+ marketing budgets

  • Experience in B2B marketing to SMEs is a must, ideally selling SAAS solutions. Previous experience in payments or financial services isn’t required

  • Experience shipping multi-channel, global brand or GTM campaigns is required.

  • 5+ years management experience, building high-functioning teams of 20+ marketeers and a strong passion for coaching and developing talent

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; English writing fluency is required. Dutch, Flemish, French, or German language skills are a plus.

  • Data-driven mindset and technical expertise (i.e. tooling, experience with benchmarking and uplift studies)

  • A growth mindset and demonstrated experience partnering closely with Growth Marketing to drive measurable results
