Head of Talent Acquisition

The opportunity

Reporting into the VP People & Places, you will take on the role as Head of TA and be a key partner to our TA team, business leaders and the broader people team. You will translate our business strategy into a targeted TA plan that ensures we can meet our hiring needs across our existing markets and new markets 

We are looking for a builder, someone with a proven track record of building teams across different European countries and hiring in new markets. You will lead a team of 15 talented Mollies, and focus on coaching to enable them to do their best work. 

What you’ll be doing

  • We have big plans for 2025, and you’ll be a critical partner to our leadership team, hiring managers, and the broader people team in setting the TA agenda and enabling our teams' success.

  • You will interface with our leaders to understand their hiring challenges and deliver solutions that address their needs.

  • While we have some solid processes in place, they can be further streamlined to support our hiring teams at Mollie. This includes everything from the overall candidate experience, TA analytics, sourcing & pipeline generation, recruitment marketing, and other TA projects that elevate how we hire at Mollie.

  • You will be expected to support the recruitment of some of our most critical leadership roles, ensuring that you are a trusted partner to our leaders and challenging us on how we think about the talent we hire.

  • Some key projects you can expect to work on in 2025 include: developing a TA strategy that supports our expansion into new EU countries, developing an internal hiring approach and supporting diversity hiring goals.

What you’ll bring 

  • Proven experience leading end-to-end Talent Acquisition teams in high-growth, fast-scaling organizations. You’ve excelled in recruitment, employer branding, recruitment operations, and analytics - and know how to tie them all together for measurable success.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment nuances for Engineering and GTM roles with an ability to partner effectively with stakeholders in these fields.

  • You understand how to position the company as an employer of choice in key geographies, including Germany, Lisbon, Milan, and the UK.

  • A programmatic approach to TA - driving projects and programs, that will further enable the TA function, and position TA as trusted business partners to our hiring managers. 

  • Experience in enabling teams to work with data, and translating data into a clear and actionable narrative.

  • Obsession with the candidate experience, as candidates are one of our key customers. Everything you do starts and ends with our candidates and their overall experience.

  • A data-driven and analytical mindset: You love accurate data and numbers, and not only that but know how to translate complex data into simple, easy to follow solutions with your analytical mindset that tells the story you are trying to get across.
