HR Business Partner
Mollie is on an exciting journey. Our mission is to make money management effortless for every business in Europe. The People Domain plays a crucial role in supporting Mollie’s mission. After a period of rapid scaling our focus for 2024 remains on sustainable growth while gaining more efficiency.
Your Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support our Enablement Crafts (Finance, Legal, Risk & Compliance) as we continue to grow in our European markets. In this role, you’ll be the dedicated HRBP for these teams. Your goal is to translate the needs and strategies of our business into well informed talent decisions that are underpinned by our Employee Experience. Whether you are designing a new HR initiative, coaching a leader to support their team, or providing insights into the latest quarterly People domain metrics, the core of your role is to maximise outcomes for our Mollies in order to drive business performance at Mollie.
We are looking for someone who can influence, build trust/relationships and execute brilliantly. Are you looking for an opportunity to have a meaningful impact? Then read on.
What you’ll be doing:
Provide strong thought partnerships and coaching to our Senior leaders, understanding their needs and translating them into a People Roadmap - with a key emphasis on the overall employee experience, taking into account country-specific needs.
Be a talent expert! You will influence our performance philosophy, lead talent and succession planning processes and through your master observation skills, enable our leaders to make critical talent decisions.
You will be the glue and conduit between the business and the rest of the people team. You will bring our COEs - whether it’s operations, reward, learning or our places team to the table, providing our people team members with the business context necessary for them to be successful.
You'll dive into data, surfacing insights to our business leaders so they can make better informed people decisions. You'll also be on the lookout for any HR issues or trends, then work with the right people to find a solution.
What you'll bring:
To be successful in this role you need to have a deep understanding of what it means to work in a tech environment. We are looking for candidates who have seen and experienced (international) scale in a scale up environment
Business acumen & autonomy - We need someone who can connect HR strategies to business objectives. You don't have to be a business genius, but you should know how HR fits into the bigger picture. On top of that, you’ll be working with a smaller team of HR Business Partners who are eager to support you, however, we are looking for someone who is proactive and independent in working with their designated business teams.
Strong judgement and decision making - you will have the ability to build credible relationships quickly through excellent judgement and decision making skills.
Communication skills - You'll be the one communicating HR policies and initiatives to the whole organisation, so we need someone who can explain complex ideas in a clear and concise way, both in written content as well as during training and jam sessions.
Project management skills - HR is always working on something, so we need someone who can juggle multiple projects and keep them on track.
Taking initiative - We need someone who has a keen eye for identifying opportunities for improvement and has a proactive mindset. You are happy to take the lead and want to get things done!
