Partnerships Lead - France

Your opportunity
You’ll help Mollie grow by managing a wide variety of channel partners, including digital agencies, local Ecom partners and revenue-enhancing integrations. As a natural commercial leader you’ll build relationships with new and existing partners and manage a team of enthusiastic agency partner managers based in France (2). You’ll report to the VP France and support him with implementing a successful commercial strategy for the French market. You will implement growth projects working closely with the local and central teams and functions.
What you'll be doing
Expand and manage a team of channel partner managers
Steer performance to increase the number and value of leads generated through partners, setting ambitious targets for growth
Measure and optimize conversion of the leads, working closely together with direct sales, the self serve channel and the marketing team
Coach the team to increase the acquisition of new partners as well as increasing the commercial outcomes with existing partners
Create and execute go-to-market strategies for each channel and identify strategic partners for each channel and strike deals with them
Identify and quantify opportunities for growth for Mollie in France and create a roadmap for execution
Implement these growth projects working cross functionally with other teams across the business
Identify and launch new channels to drive value for mollie, using an adaptive, test and learn approach
What you will bring
10+ years work experience in Business Development for a digital product in either Fintech or SaaS. Prior experience as a management consultant is also valuable for this role
You bring a strategic and analytical mindset and strong problem solving and communication skills.
You are strong in managing a sales pipeline that consists of larger strategic business development deals as much as smaller lead generation deals.
You have great experience in deal negotiation and partner management
You are used to fast execution and love change and creating new opportunities
A data driven approach is second nature to you and you continuously improve and optimise your business
Your have strong people leadership skills with a passion for coaching and driving results through the team
You are a fast, proactive and independent thinker who loves taking ownership
You also don't shy away from rolling up your sleeves and helping out where needed
You are also a great team player and enjoy working on cross-functional teams
You are fluent in French and English
You have worked in France for at least 5 years to understand the local market well.
