You will work closely with senior Mollies, providing insights and recommendations around resourcing, prioritisation and risk management. 


Mollie is looking for someone with a strong business analytics skillset who can help us use data to derive insights, track performance, and take actions that can shape our strategy and decision-making in a fast-growing environment. In addition, you will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to launch programs across our Engineering organisation.


This role requires a combination of program management, analytics, planning and organisation skills, and stakeholder management. You should be comfortable in an evolving and fast-paced environment, love data, and be passionate about our Products.


What will you be doing


  • Planning & Analysis:

    • Gather, report and analyse performance data, communicating core business metrics to the CTO Leadership team and stakeholders at different levels in various governance forums.

    • Identify opportunities and deliver data-driven recommendations. Developing analytical frameworks and dashboards to empower our leadership team with reliable data sources and insights.

    • Support the strategic planning efforts across the Engineering organisation, including developing our budget planning.

  • Business partnering:  

    • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CTO domains, offering financial guidance and support in decision-making processes. 

    • Work closely with the Engineering Leaders to budget and forecast vendor and resource spending.

    • Understand business problems and enable leaders to translate them into solutions supported by data and analysis.

  • Collaboration within the Planning & Analysis Domain: 

    • Work closely with other teams within the Planning and Analysis domain to ensure alignment and optimise support for the business's financial information needs. 

    • Collaborate on data collection, analysis methodologies, and reporting standards to ensure consistency and accuracy across all domains.


What  you will bring


  • You are a Google Sheets/Excel master, creating smooth processes around them, able to interpret data into key messages and storytelling.

  • Modelling scenarios, ability to recognise and assemble resources required to deliver projects

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders clearly and concisely.

  • Collaboration & relationship skills to partner with stakeholders, with the ability to manage sensitive information discreetly. 

  • You have an analytical and data-driven mind and an eye for detail; your work's result is considered accurate.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Hands-on, a can-do mindset and a strong sense of ownership (but humble execution)

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Financial Planning role, ideally in tech organisations.
