Product Partnerships Manager - Financial Services

Mollie was founded in 2004 in Amsterdam. Since then, Mollie has grown exponentially to become a trusted payment service provider for over 200,000 businesses. However, this is just the beginning.

We feel that banking has been set up against us for too long. From overdraft fees to payment processing, banking products are confusing, stressful, and frankly—boring.

In contrast, Mollie was founded to change the status quo, aiming to provide a new generation of financial products designed to work entirely for our customers. A product-first approach that our customers can truly benefit from.

Mollie collaborates with multiple product partners to improve our ability to provide customers with the most relevant and optimised products and features. As part of the Product Partnerships team, you will work on developing new cross-functional products and managing existing partnerships, making a significant impact on Mollie's success.

In this role, you will be a key enabler of our mission to help customers with effortless money management by supporting our new suite of Financial Services products, including Mollie Capital, Mollie Invoicing, and an exciting new offering yet to be disclosed. These products form a powerful toolbox designed to address our customers' cash flow needs. To accelerate the deployment of these solutions, Mollie builds partnerships with leading industry players. You will be responsible for managing these strategic relationships.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and grow partnerships with a variety of strategic partners for Mollie

  • Structure, negotiate and develop partnerships contracts

  • Help to build and execute the payment partner strategy with best-in-class analytics

  • Deepen both the relationships with our partners and the way in which we work together through product, marketing, support, operations, strategy and planning

  • Understand our product proposition and strategy, as well as the partner capabilities in order to jointly co-create best-in-class products to our customers

  • Be the first point of contact for partners both internal and external

  • Responsible for performance management and quarterly business reviews

  • Work closely with country managers, product and marketing to ensure smooth resolution of issues, gather feedback and identify and prioritise opportunities

  • Work closely with support to improve partner processes for efficiency

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in a partnership, account management or strategy role

  • Data-driven with proven experience in project management

  • Strong communicator with the ability to keep key stakeholders informed and consulted

  • Ambitious and flexible; can-do attitude for a fast-paced scale-up environment
