Senior Partner Manager Belgium

Agency partnerships are central to our growth strategy, and we are seeking a commercially minded individual to help drive the development of our partnerships in Belgium. You’ll be responsible for closing new partnerships with different types of (digital) agencies (e.g. digital agencies, system integrators, venture capitals, private equity and resellers) with a dedicated focus on the Belgium market. You are a self-starter with a high level of ownership who can work with partners on different levels: operational as well as strategic. You can develop an understanding of the underlying opportunities, develop ways to pursue these and have the drive to successfully own them in order to generate leads.
What you'll be doing
Identifying and establishing new partnerships with agencies through various approaches, including outbound sales, leveraging your network, social selling, and participation in industry events.
Managing and nurturing a portfolio of agency partnerships throughout their lifecycle, from pitching Mollie's value proposition and building high-value relationships to maintaining engagement across multiple touchpoints with various stakeholders.
Developing strategies for partnerships with global system integrators, consulting firms, and investment firms to support growth in the large customer segment in the Belgian market.
Leading the Go-To-Market strategy for the enterprise segment to drive lead generation and expand partnership opportunities.
Expanding your partner portfolio by engaging with global system integrators, investment firms, associations, and industry influencers through a mix of outbound efforts, Mollie's senior network, and events.
Building relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, to create meaningful business cases and establish commercially successful partnerships.
Working closely with the sales team to secure deals sourced through your partner network.
What you'll bring
Above 5+ years of experience in business development, partner management, channel sales, direct sales, adjacent functions within a payment or software company, consulting or an investment company.
A strong interest in e-commerce and payments, with an enthusiasm for developing meaningful partnerships, creating commercial opportunities, and are well-connected within the industry.
Independent, entrepreneurial, and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment with a proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets (closing, managing, and enabling new and existing partners to refer merchants successfully).
Understanding and experience of the buying process of large Enterprise companies / merchants, such as through RfP processes and have ideally already sold to or partnered with this customer segment.
Preference for existing network within global system integrators or investment companies in the Belgium market.
Ability to work with complex organisations and a multitude of stakeholders.
Ability to find new opportunities and follow-up on them.
Native in Flemish and French, English is preferred
Willingness to travel to the Ghent office twice a week.
