Full-time

Senior Product Marketing Manager

We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager who will be responsible for driving the commercial success of Mollie's new Financial Services portfolio.

The opportunity:

Mollie was founded in 2004 in Amsterdam. Since then, Mollie has grown exponentially to become a trusted payment service provider for over 200,000 businesses. However, this is just the beginning. We feel that banking has been set up against us for too long. From overdraft fees to payment processing, banking products are confusing, stressful, and frankly - boring.

In contrast, we want to change the status quo, aiming to provide a new generation of financial products designed to work entirely for our customers. As part of this role, you will be a key enabler of our renewed mission: to help merchants with effortless money management.

As a Product Marketing Manager you will work at the intersection of product, commerce, and marketing teams. You'll be both the voice of our customers and a key conduit for customer insights. Your role is essential in fostering a deep understanding of our products, our customers' needs and bringing those together.

In this role, you will work in a cross-functional product domain to launch and grow new products to support our strategy to "eliminate financial bureaucracy". You will be responsible for defining, experimenting, and deploying different endeavours that can drive maximum adoption. You will lead the go-to-market efforts of this new product category, and liaise with Product to steer our roadmap to match market demand & needs.

What you'll be doing:

  • Needless to say: Talk to customers. And be able to quickly steer our strategy based on insights.

  • Be highly informed about customer segments, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape in the area.

  • Experiment, experiment, experiment: Figure out which strategies, messaging, positioning are the most effective, and go-big on the right ones.

  • Develop and execute the go-to-market plans for our new Financial Services portfolio.

  • Deliver on strategies & campaigns to generate brand awareness and adoption.

  • Identify and liaise with industry partners with whom we can collaborate, to drive commercial traction (whether it's in the form of partnerships, referrals, product integration, and beyond)

  • Collaborate with various marketing and content teams to create assets and tough leadership artefacts.

  • Gather and communicate customer insights to guide product enhancements and future product direction.

  • Work with the product and commercial leadership team to ensure alignment with the wider company strategy.

What you'll bring:

First we don't believe that having x years of experience here or there is a benchmark for your potential performance. Your application is your pitch. Pitch how you have the right expertise & drive to make this happen. And we will pitch Mollie to you - and the value we can add to your career. Having said that, there are few dimensions we consider relevant:

  • Proven track record in a fast-growing company within a dynamic market, with the ability to handle change and challenges effectively.

  • Strong investigative and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer needs, pains, and gains.

  • Youโ€™ll have a strong product mindset, be a commercial thinker and creative marketer that brings it all together.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and executing multiple projects while keeping key stakeholders informed.

  • Ability to translate technical product details into clear narratives for internal teams.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage internal leaders, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.

  • Fluent in English with strong writing skills; proficiency in Dutch, French, or German is a plus.
