UX/UI Designer - Marketing Website

We feel that banking has been set up against us for too long. From overdraft fees to payment processing, banking products are confusing, stressful, and frankly—boring.

In contrast, Mollie was founded in 2004 to change the status quo, aiming to provide a new generation of financial products designed to work entirely for our customers. A product-first approach that our 200,000 customers can truly benefit from. However, this is just the beginning.

We share a sweet tooth and a high bar for building a product that our customers will love. Our strong maker culture is balanced by cross-functional teams and a focus on fast-paced product cycles.


Your opportunity:

You will lead design for our marketing website mollie.com. Together with Product Managers and Marketers you will help tell Mollie’s story, what we are building and how this helps our merchants. 


What you’ll be doing:
  • You will drive a vision and execution of how we visually storytell for mollie.com

  • Create and iterate on landing pages and the website

  • Together with other designers and copywriters work on marketing concepts & branding initiatives

  • Be entrepreneurial and role model to push the status quo at Mollie

  • Mollie.com is built in Framer, experience with it is a pre but not mandatory.

What you’ll bring:

First we don't believe that having x years of experience here or there is a benchmark for your potential performance. Your application is your pitch.     You are confident when facing complicated interaction problems, and you have a strong eye for aesthetics. You know the difference between great design and good design is in the details.

  • Visual storytelling
    You know how to tell a story in a clear, visual way that inspires people  in- and outside of Mollie.

  • Communication & Collaboration
    You understand that great design doesn’t happen in a vacuum. You involve your stakeholders early and often.

  • Ownership
    You take initiative, and are not waiting for others to make things happen. You constantly advocate and challenge decisions. You keep track of your own time, manage and prioritise your daily work.
