Working Student – Mobile Release Coordinator

Working Student – Mobile Release Coordinator

Your Opportunity

At Mollie, we’re on a mission to make payments and money management effortless for every business in Europe. Serving more than 250,000 businesses across the continent, we aim to cut through financial bureaucracy that hinders great ideas from growing. Our belief is that accepting payments, driving revenue, accessing capital, and managing money should be seamless for our merchants.

Our mobile app is how merchants manage their payments, track their business, and stay on top of what matters — on the go. We've built a strong release foundation: automated builds, thorough testing, and a reliable bi-weekly cadence that teams across Mollie count on.

Now we're stepping it up. We're moving to weekly releases, which means more value in merchants' hands more often. But doubling the cadence also doubles the coordination — and that's where you come in.

What you'll be doing

  • Own the release calendar — keep timelines, deadlines, and milestones clear and up to date for every release cycle

  • Chase confirmations — follow up with engineers and PMs until you have the sign-offs you need; don't wait for them to come to you

  • Track last-minute changes — when something needs to be added to a release at the last minute, you coordinate it: who needs to know, what needs to happen, and when

  • Coordinate across teams — work with ~20 feature teams to ensure their work lands safely in each release

  • Run communication — write release updates, post status in the right channels, escalate blockers clearly and early

  • Support big moments — help coordinate testing rounds, major feature launches, and app upgrade rollouts

What you’ll bring

  • Proactive — you follow up without being asked and don't let things go quiet

  • Comfortable nudging people (politely, persistently) to get what you need

  • Clear communicator — in writing and in a meeting

  • Organized enough to keep track of multiple open threads at once

  • Any exposure to mobile apps, software releases, or product delivery is a plus

  • Experience coordinating across teams or running a recurring process
