We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Working Student (Werkstudent) to join our Employee Experience (EX) team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will support our employee events program and contribute to initiatives that shape our vibrant workplace culture. As part of Mollie’s People Domain, you’ll gain hands-on experience in administrative support, project coordination, and event management.


The EX function sits at the intersection of HR, Marketing, Internal Communications, and Workplace Experience. This cross-functional scope offers a broad perspective and the chance to collaborate with teams across the organisation to create meaningful experiences for all Mollies.

Focusing on the research, planning, and execution of employee events, you will report directly to the Employee Experience Event Manager. You will have the chance to collaborate across teams and help bring engaging experiences to life for our employees.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the events manager to plan and deliver engaging employee events.

  • Support in the creation of key event documents such as programs, playbooks and run of shows. 

  • Help draft clear and engaging communications documents related to events including FAQ’s, staff briefings and volunteer briefings.

  • Research and source venues, experiences, branded swag and other creative event elements.

  • Coordinate event timelines, logistics and operations.

  • Support budget research and track costs.

  • Act as a point of contact for external vendors, internal teams and volunteers.

  • Provide hands-on support during events such as guest list management and speaker coordination. A key week we will be hosting an event is Sept 8 - 14.



What you'll bring

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program.

  • Proactive, with a positive can do attitude.

  • Naturally curious, with an eagerness to learn and grow.

  • Friendly, approachable and able to build positive relationships with others.

  • Highly organised, with great planning skills and attention to detail. 

  • Excellent computer skills, confident building and editing spreadsheets and presentations (Excel, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Keynote).

  • Experience in a customer facing role such as hospitality, student association, retail, is a plus.

  • Professional working proficiency in English (C1 level or above).

  • Prior events experience is a bonus.
