Your impact
You'll be a key part of the team scaling our newest product: In-Person Payments (IPP). This role directly impacts the customer experience by ensuring every business gets its payment terminal activated accurately and on time, making their transition to Mollie seamless.
As a Working Student - Operations Specialist, you own the operational execution of our hardware logistics and fulfilment. You will be the point person for tracking SLAs, resolving issues, and bringing structure to the operational flow of a rapidly growing, physical-world product line. Your focus on process and detail will directly contribute to Mollie's mission to eliminate friction and enable growth for thousands of businesses.
This is a dynamic opportunity to gain real-world experience in fintech operations and potentially evolve into a full-time Product Delivery or Operations role in the future.
What you'll ship
Oversee daily POS fulfilment, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery and activation of payment terminals for our merchants.
Monitor and drive resolution of SLAs across fulfilment, activation, and support queues, proactively flagging risks to maintain operational efficiency.
Coordinate logistics including tracking deliveries, managing delays, and processing returns (RMA), keeping all stakeholders informed.
Handle complaints from internal and external customers, delivering a swift, service-first resolution every time.
Investigate and track contact reasons related to hardware issues to identify trends and improve overall product delivery.
What you'll bring
Currently enrolled in an HBO or University (bachelor’s or master’s) program in the Netherlands or recently graduated.
Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus), with strong, clear communication skills and a dedicated customer service mindset.
A reliable, organized, and detail-oriented self-starter who takes full ownership of tasks from issue to resolution.
The ability to comfortably bring structure to ambiguity—you can untangle messy operational situations, prioritize clearly, and create simple, repeatable processes.
Must reside in the Netherlands and have the legal right to work here.
